Square is one of the most dynamic start-ups of the moment. Founded by one of the creators of Twitter, the company specializes in mobile payment. The concept is simple: you plug an adapter into your mobile or tablet, and it can read your bank card and debit money (with your authorization of course).
Square has raised quite a bit of money from various investment funds and the president of Starbucks. This company therefore has the capacity to create a favorable working environment for its employees.
Designed by the agency O + A, which also designed the Facebook offices in Palo Alto, these corporate premises reflect a contemporary and resolutely modern style. The predominant colors of brown and gray combine with the wood look of the furniture.
As in the premises of Ubiquitous, you will notice a fairly industrial look for the ceiling and the floor. It looks like an old storage warehouse.
The workspace is decorated with boxes, where employees can work on their projects or organize meetings.
Employees work in openspace but less institutional high tables are also available for employees.
Finally, relaxation areas have been fitted out as with this large sofa.
