Atelier office in Shanghai, China
The office for the MOA atelier was conceived as a temporary building for 5 – 10 years. MOA is a subsidiary of the GOM atelier, whose main fields of activity are design, exhibitions, art and cultural events. Designers, artists and architects built it for their work.
The smaller part of the building combines a cafe and a studio, there is an extensive exhibition space, thematic events are held. In the layout of the premises, filled space and emptiness effectively alternate.

Exhibition space in the interior of the studio

Refined and bold color combination
The minimalism style prevails here, everything is simple and clear, because the main concept of the architectural philosophy of minimalism is that a building is just a place where a person has a roof over his head.

Simplicity and style in the interior are the distinctive features of minimalism
The structures inside are lightweight. The building is in harmony with nature, sun, wind, water. The architects built this studio with intuition, not standard design theory.

Nature-inspired interior
During the construction of the building, many materials were used that are not usually used in such structures. Old doors of different colors perfectly match the walls, partitions are made of metal sheets and metal curtains in the form of chains.

Cold beauty of metal

Refined chic
The building was built so that you can change something at any time. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor, a studio upstairs, in the rest of the house there are no enclosed spaces. There is a lot of light in the rooms. A material that transmits and reflects daylight was used in the decoration. The building looks “fragile”, which gives its appearance something fabulous.

Natural light in the room creates a cozy atmosphere
There is a sense of peace and tranquility here, like in a classical Chinese garden, when you walk and see how the lighting changes, and suddenly you stop, struck by a flash of light.

Lightness and airiness of the interior is the main idea of the designers
Would you like to work in an office like this? Appreciate the work of the decorators.
