Nature inspired the interior design of this cinema. Such two elements as earth and water had a particularly strong influence on the creative activity of man. After all, they are the basis of human existence.
It was these two elements that inspired the designers to create a completely unique cinema in Hefei (China). First of all, the ceiling is impressive: massive, slightly pompous, decorated with wide metal stripes. By playing with light and shade, the designers were able to create a beautiful mountain landscape. However, it is not chaotic, not random, as it might seem at first glance.
A huge corridor and screens hanging around the perimeter, showing various new films, resemble the riverbed that spilled over from the banks. This river flows along the mountain peaks, occasionally bypassing the obstacles that meet on its way in the form of massive columns of delicate gold and champagne.
After passing through the hills and streams, we go to the ticket offices. They are located in such a way that they recall a cozy bay. The checkout counters are made of light marble with a fancy pattern. It looks very natural and natural. The metal frame gives them a special nobility and charm. The cash desks made of dark marble stand out separately. This is an area for serving VIP clients. Thus, the designers have achieved a very elegant, but at the same time exotic atmosphere around.
In general, the entire design of the cinema is built on contrast. You can see it in everything: the combination of color and shade, light and dark, natural and artificial. The corridor turned out to be especially elegant. Its walls are made of light and dark fiberglass. And the wooden frame gives it additional charm.
The designers, no doubt, got it right with the color. The successful combination of very warm shades creates a very pleasant atmosphere around, and noble mahogany inserts add nobility to it. The cinema logo on the wall is also a very interesting solution. It harmonizes perfectly with the interior and gives it completeness. The floor in the hallway also draws attention. Several different patterns smoothly flow from one to another, as the flow of water changes its course.
The recreation areas and toilet rooms are made in light colors. The white tiles on the floor are decorated with a diamond pattern and framed in gold. Frosted glass also adds elegance to the interior.
The VIP hall located on the 4th floor deserves special attention. Subdued tones and twilight create a very film-friendly atmosphere. Designers do not move away from natural motives here either. The suspended ceiling is designed to simulate a sunset, while ceiling-mounted light bulbs create the effect of a starry sky. Steel walls reflect all this splendor, expanding the space to infinity.
The ceiling in the hall is made of dark and light marble. Even here, designers continue to play on the contrast of light and dark tones. The cinema hall itself is made in brown tones and decorated with wood of various species. Effective, unusual, bright.
