Cehegi? N Wine School by INMAT Arquitectura
The Cehegi? N Wine School is located in the picturesque Spanish town of Sehegin. It is located in the basement of a historic building called “Casa de la Terzia”, which was built in the 7th century.

The European Union, which finances this project, entrusted the reconstruction of the interior of this architectural monument to the specialists of INMAT Arquitectura, who, in turn, did everything to preserve the unique style of the premises.

Unfinished vaulted ceilings and modern glass windows and doors
Here you can get acquainted with the process of making wines for which the local wineries have long been famous. And the main thing is to feel that unique atmosphere of antiquity that reigns under the low arches of narrow halls.

The walls and ceilings were deliberately finished so that the impression remains that a human hand has not touched them for a long time. They make a harmonious contrast to the brand new natural wood floor and glass structures, inside which are half-buried earthenware containers for wine.

Freshly squeezed juice flowed down wooden troughs into huge jugs
Shelves with samples of wine products were installed in the first hall especially for visitors, and a separate room with tables and comfortable chairs was equipped for lectures and tastings.

The exposition was also equipped with hidden illumination, which gives a dim, diffused light. How do you feel about this kind of decor?
