The interior of the private clinic of Daniela Brassart. This is a great example of the stylish and attractive image of a medical center. The doctor has long dreamed of opening her own dermatological institution in Montreal.
The main goal of the clinic is to treat patients suffering from eczema, psoriasis, abscesses and other skin diseases. An important task in the creation of the center was to organize a comfortable environment in which clients would feel calm.
Light is an essential component of many dermatological treatments and has become the starting point for interior design. Despite the large windows facing east towards Boulevard Abner and south towards Montmorency metro station, the pediatric clinic that previously occupied the site was dark and boring.
The reception is centrally located with no access to natural light. It was possible to eliminate this problem with the help of various kinds of lamps and expanding the space, which scattered the light from the lamps and made it a little dull.
Six examination rooms with frosted glass ceilings create a harmonious style for the main areas. Nearby are specialized light treatment rooms with glass walls designed to compensate for the effects of ultraviolet radiation.
In this regard, it is impossible not to note additional elements of the interior, including accessories, lamps and even some cabinets.
Dr. Brassard wants her patients to relax as they enter the clinic. They should feel calm and not be burdened with stress and discomfort.
The best way to relax in the waiting room is to sit by the window, admire the Avenir Boulevard, consider the whole center, which at this place can be seen at a glance. People become more patient and understanding when they are in a comfortable, pleasant environment.
Only friendly, welcoming staff can satisfy the needs of customers. However, workers are within four walls almost all day, so they also experience some stress. To compensate for this, the designers have created a rather interesting interior, which, depending on the purpose, offers different styles of images.
Even when an employee moves in areas hidden from visitors, he is surrounded by original, beautiful premises.
In addition to natural light, the pendant LED lamps can be programmed via Wi-Fi to the desired intensity and color for each zone. It is important that they offer users maximum yet energy efficient brightness without being too dazzling.
This picture is complemented by a glass ceiling and doors that fill the corridor with diffused lighting.
Works by the Chinotto studio
All logos and other images have been developed in collaboration with the graphic designer Chinotto. As a result, the badges and signs were made in a unique style, as a result of which the clinic received its own unique image. A feature of logos and other icons is the embodiment of 3D geometry in a 2D image.
Dr. Brassard’s Clinic is proof that any dynamic young firm can carry out a complex specialized architectural project without necessarily having experience in similar projects.
Clinique D is a welcoming and well-thought-out space where everyone can get a full range of services to get rid of skin problems once and for all.
